I bought this to swim outdoors on the north coast of California where it can be 53 degrees and foggy even in August. I wear a women's size 14 so I bought a size 14. Not correct! TOO LARGE! According to the height and weight chart, this is what I was supposed to wear, but I wish I was a size 12 (5ft 9in, 175lbs). Luckily I can sew and wear it and everything is fine now. I suggest you order one size down because you want it to be snug and keep water out. What keeps you warm is the layer of water, you don't want more penetration with every movement of your arms.
