I was really excited about this. Got it installed in my new shower and then I started hearing a noise that sounded like dripping water. I tore into the back wall on two sides of the shower, concerned that I had a water leak. Everything was dry. I left it for another week and it started to drive me nuts so I started investigating again. Everything went back to the cold water side of this valve. I thought it might be water hammering issue so I put an arrestor on the line. Nope! Then got closer. The noise was right inside the valve. Although I am not 100% certain, I believe (from comments I have found online) that the cartridge for this thing has a major design flaw. Again, it works great. Just makes this noise that drives me nuts. Pay a bit extra and get a moen.
