Review on π Bose 161 Speaker System (Pair) - Black: Immerse in Enriched Audio Experience by Lisa Pruitt
Compared to cheaper Polks, these are disappointing.
I returned them after comparing them to the Polk OWM3 (which is $50 cheaper). The Bose speakers lacked treble clarity, and the bass was muffled and compressed. The Polk speakers just sounded better (they have a two-way woofer and tweeter design compared to Bose's tiny 3-inch speakers), are cheaper, and offer more mounting options. Very happy with Revain's response to the return.
