Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Stay Fit and Connected with the Amazfit GTS Smartwatch - 14 Day Battery, Heart Rate Monitor, GPS, Sleep and Swim Tracking, and More! by Virot Ngeonkham แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

There are very ambiguous characteristics that could have been good, but did not work out. 1. The presence of always-on-display, but this greatly reduces the autonomy of work. I donโ€™t see the point in it for myself, because you can just turn your wrist a little to see the time. 2. The weather is displayed incorrectly. It seems great, you can see the weather without looking at the phone, but only the average temperature for the day / night is true. At the current time it shows incorrectly - during the day when the sun is shining +3, in the evening +17. Doesn't match with actual readings. 3. You can not listen to music from the watch, but this was not promised, although it would be very useful. There is GPS, which allows you not to take your phone for a run and have accurate data, but running without music is not fun, so you still have to take your phone. 4. There is a stopwatch and a timer, but you can't turn them off. Although the time when the timer is on is still visible in the upper right corner, though small. You can choose the right time for the timer from the suggested ones, or you can set it yourself - which is undoubtedly a plus. 5. Gorilla glass is, but after a week there was a scratch on the display. Already after buying the GTS, I began to compare them with MiBand 4 (according to reviews), at first I was upset that it seemed to be almost the same in terms of functionality - except for GPS (because of which this device was bought), but in practice it was not needed. But there are still advantages, due to which an overpayment of 6 I personally consider it justified: + appearance - very nice and solid looks on the hand + bigger screen + more detailed display of activity information + full alarm management +PAI If the issue of cost is fundamental, then you can safely limit yourself to MiBand 4. And if you add a little more, you can buy Huawei Watch GT 2, which is a full-fledged smart watch. I am generally satisfied with the purchase, after MiBand 2, which I have been using for more than two years, the device generally seems to be excellent. But this is not ideal, for the money you want more.

Pros
  • 1. Nice appearance, do not look cheap 2. They feel even lighter on the hand than MiBand 3. Large high-quality display, it is a pleasure to read notifications from it. Thanks to the AMOLED matrix, everything is visible even in bright sunlight. 4. There is a brightness adjustment and auto brightness. I donโ€™t use the second one, because at night the brightness is still for some reason not at the minimum, but higher, and this blinds my eyes. To change the brightness, you need only 3 actions (move down the curtain, click on the brightness, react), so it's more convenient for me to adjust manually. 5. Ability to control music on the phone through the watch. It is very convenient for owners of Bluetooth headphones who like to walk around the apartment without a phone, but with music. Yes, and even with wired ones itโ€™s convenient - you donโ€™t need to take your phone out of your pocket once again, everything can be done on your hand. 6. Full control of the alarm clock from the clock (not only on / off, but also setting the day and time) 7. Very convenient wireless charging compared to MiBand - no need to get the display out of the strap. 8. PAI mode - a very interesting feature that analyzes the activity during the day (taking into account the heart rate), and daily assigns points for activity (the goal is 100 points per week). Motivates to be active, but for very sedentary people. For 3 half-hour fitness workouts (medium intensity) + daily movement along the street, it is easy to score 100 points. This function only makes sense for people with a normal heart rate, because with tachycardia, points will accumulate even at rest.
Cons
  • 1. Strap The first couple of hours itched hand from him. Then it became normal, but still the skin sweats under the strap and this causes discomfort (even if it is greatly weakened). In general, I am not a fan of silicone straps, I prefer the Milanese loop, but the MiBand silicone strap was more comfortable in this regard. 2. The flashlight is almost useless, very weak 3. No way to answer messages and calls 4. NFC is very lacking, but this is the lack of all amazfit 5. You can not view sleep information from the watch, only from the application. 6. Autonomy is declared ~ 14 days. With every minute of tracking the heart rate, the battery runs down a lot. I had enough for 7 days, during this time the training mode was turned on twice, music control once, a timer several times, notifications all the time, the brightness was about 30%, the screen automatically turned off after 5 seconds. That is, the load of the clock was even below average, and the battery was enough for half of the declared. 7. This is still not a smart watch, but rather an advanced fitness bracelet with a watch design
