I installed 8 of these in the hallway and bathroom. The color temperature of 3000K is ideal - not too yellow and very little blue. That's a good bright light. The fixture was easy to install in the 5-inch body, but required slight flexing of the springs to allow flush mounting to the ceiling. They work well with a standard LED lamp dimmer switch. I first had 5000K lightbulbs which were quite uncomfortable indoors, too much blue. Everything is hard and you can see every grain of dirt. I liked replacing it with 3000K bulbs (looks brighter than 2500K yellow bulbs) and my wife (no obvious blue in the light).
