Review on 🚗 WIX 57327 Cartridge Lube Metal Free: Pack of 1 - Superior Filtration for Efficient Engine Lubrication by Kyle Ahmed

This is the second Wix filter I use on my 2008 BMW 335xi (N54 Twin Turbo engine). The buyer should be careful. In both cases, after about 3 months, oil began to leak under the oil filter cover. In both cases, the o-ring that connects the oil filter cover to the oil filter housing was SUPER tough after removal. Now for the second time I'm cleaning the oil from the entire front of my engine. My recommendation: NEVER use this filter on an N54 BMW. Maybe it's elevated operating temperatures or something, but the o-rings they give you are (IMO) bullshit. I've been using Mann Hummel Filters instead of this more expensive Wix filter for years without incident. After this latest fiasco, I will always go back to Mann Hummel.
