Hey guys I've been buying this filter for a long time. I bought it from Napa Auto Parts for almost $20 at Revain the best filters you can find for BMW.

The original filter that was on my BMW X3 was stamped 'BMW' and the filter was made by Mann. This Wix filter has a raised rim around both holes which the BMW filter (by Mann) didn't have. However, this Wix is easy to install and seems perfect.

I've been using WIX on all my cars for years. These are some of the best filters out there. If you google "WIX oil filter comparison" you will see many websites and videos of people who have disassembled them to compare them to FRAM, NAPA, Purolator, K&N and other brands. This is the second Wix filter I use on my 2008 BMW 335xi (N54 Twin Turbo engine). The buyer should be careful. In both cases, after about 3 months, oil began to leak under the oil filter cover. In both cases, the o-ring that connects the oil filter cover to the oil filter housing was SUPER tough after removal. Now for the second time I'm cleaning the oil from the entire front of my engine.
