These bulbs are great! My old receiver for my living room surround sound broke, so I had a choice: buy a new one for a few hundred bucks, or put speakers in the ceiling like I've always wanted. 3rd option which was much cheaper so I decided to give it a try. Now because I use it for my TV. You'll need to make sure your TV is bluetooth enabled or buy a BT transmitter for the TV for this to work. As soon as I plugged in the TV and screwed in those lightbulbs, it instantly turned on my TV. They sound great too! For a little over fifty dollars I had surround sound. Not only do they sound great, they're cool, and you can change colors too. Children and women love it. The main reason I chose these bulbs over others is the ability to connect to other bulbs. The first bulb I got could only connect one at a time. So one day my TV was plugged into a lightbulb and that was it. This bulb allows you to plug a bulb into anything you plug into it, and then that main bulb will connect to all other bulbs you plug into within 32 feet. It changed my game. I'm so glad I ordered two more lamps to add true surround sound to my living room. Highly recommended for a pleasant listening experience. There is a slight lag when watching movies, but I got over it quickly. You also have to download a light and color control app, but as soon as I downloaded it, it immediately found my lightbulbs. I even downloaded it to my lady's phone and he picked it up straight away. So anyone in the house can control the lightbulbs just by downloading the app. I'm going to buy more lightbulbs for the backyard so we can stream music from there. Worth buying!
