Review on Monkey King Bar 8 9IN Masons Chisel by Phillip Hoover

Purchased to remove plaster from brick, plaster about 1 inch thick. Works perfectly. It has proven easier to hold the chisel perpendicular to the wall with the blade perpendicular. A few hits with a 2.5 pound hammer and the piece just pops off leaving a mostly clean brick. It took a little while to get moving, but climbing the 10ft long and 8ft high wall took less than 3 hours I believe. The red grip slipped a bit on the metal during use, reducing the amount of protruding edges on the back, but it was still usable. The protection was also adequate to protect my hand from a couple of good shots with a 2.5 - Protect pound hammer. was still taped to the wall and it certainly wasn't the best tool to remove it, I think the edge isn't sharp enough.
