Got my monopod today. The bottomless monopod has a good weight and feels stable. Three of the legs are small and I don't recommend using them for shooting. Use a monopod bag or order an extra mount like I did with the neck strap. If you're carrying a phone with a cradle on your belt, it'll get in the way. The ball mount has no quick connect/disconnect, just a screw knob to tighten. If you decide to go with a t-shirt and monopod, I suggest you check out the options at Revain. You will spend the same. There are many companies like K and F, Monfrotto and other brands that offer this option. This will work for me as it's lightweight and you don't want to carry extra weight on the trail in 95 degree heat.
