Great monopod for the price

I've wanted a monopod for a long time and finally got this one because it has great features for the price. It included a decent ball head AND a three foot tripod adapter. That makes the monopod even more useful in my opinion. I would give it 5 out of 5 but the pouch that comes with the monopod is good but not big enough to use if you leave the three legs attached. So I order a slightly larger suitcase because I always leave my legs on. Overall I highly recommend it for the price.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • unreliable

Good quality.: Tripods and Monopods

This item shipped from China (which was the cause of my problem) but is now shipped by Revain. It took over a month for me to receive the item. I would advise making sure it ships from the US. Other than that, this is a great quality product. It is very strong and well made. I would definitely order this again. Apart from the delivery, which I think is solved, the only problem is that there are no instructions. If you don't know how to do this, it can be a problem as some parts need to be…

The monopod is good, I cannot recommend the base.

Got my monopod today. The bottomless monopod has a good weight and feels stable. Three of the legs are small and I don't recommend using them for shooting. Use a monopod bag or order an extra mount like I did with the neck strap. If you're carrying a phone with a cradle on your belt, it'll get in the way. The ball mount has no quick connect/disconnect, just a screw knob to tighten. If you decide to go with a t-shirt and monopod, I suggest you check out the options at Revain. You will spend the…

Really useful for long time photography

This monopod is what I was looking for! It has legs for stability (it's not a tripod, so I don't expect it to work as a tripod; I won't be using it for long exposures, time-lapse, etc.). It also has a ball head which I love and I think at this price point it's a good deal. It is lightweight and folds into a slim design. I photograph events and sometimes there are situations where I do step and repeat between fast events. This legged monopod comes in very handy in situations where I'm standing…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Zero

Reading the previous review, I can only assume that people don't understand the purpose of the monopod. One suggestion is to stabilize and support the camera. Help! With a monopod, you still need to keep a hand or two on the camera. For example, the system mentioned in the title, working with a Nikon D850 with a 200-500mm lens, weighs just over 7.5 pounds. If that doesn't sound like much, try holding two 4-pound bags of sugar at eye level for an hour or more. So to the product. This is a very…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • There are problems

It seems like people stuck to the carrying case instead of the monopod itself and mistakenly downgraded the item. We buy the monopod here, the bag is just an additional accessory. I looked at several and much more expensive options before deciding to try this monopod mainly based on reviews, low price and ball head already included! When shooting with a Nikon D750 on a 70-200 f/2.8 or a Nikon 200-400mm f/4 lens, a monopod is essential to get clear images of distant, fast-moving subjects…
