These connectors are a cost effective way to connect low current cables. They are much easier to work with than cable nuts, especially for low voltage and low current cables (such as telephony, alarm systems, etc.). The kit includes a wide range of connectors. Be sure to follow the instructions on the chart included with the kit. Also, buy a good quality crimping tool and be sure to insert the wires directly into the grommet. I bought these connectors specifically for alarm wiring; but found them absolutely ideal for low current 110-120VAC connections.
