Ready to work right out of the box, the Dell Optiplex 7040 is a great workhorse with very few issues so I was happy to get a refurbished one for home use. This certified refurbished model only lasted a year and encountered many problems. They also literally used the cheapest, craziest, worst hard drive I've ever seen. I understand why they throw away hard drives because they have very little profit to make, but seriously, this thing is so tiny and so flimsy it looks like it came out of a gumball machine. I'm very frustrated because the car is beyond repair and well outside the 90 day window. Please be very careful when buying refurbished parts, you will receive totally inferior quality parts for machines that may have had problems with brand new ones.
