Review on Hygger Controller Submersible Saltwater Freshwater Fish & Aquatic Pets by Jenna Willis

Everything was right on the temp gauge for the first 2 weeks and it did a great job of heating the split tank (with holes) for my bettas. I've struggled to keep my temperature down for the past 2 days. I'm still experimenting, but I think if you put something against it (like plants) it may mess up the temperature reading. He said it was 77 when it was 89! So instead of cooling down, it kept heating up! As I moved the plants, the temp reading matched the actual water temp and began to cool. Luckily, these chickens are hardy and can handle higher temperatures, even if they are too hot. I keep an eye on it but other than that it's the best heater I've ever had! I will amend my review if it continues to misread. Although it's pretty accurate now.
