My OEM converter failed and I didn't have my right turn signal. I connected this converter and everything works as it should. It converts the 5 wires end/brake/indicator yellow (5 wires incl. mass) into indicator end/brake/red (4 wires incl. mass). When you brake, both turn signals come on, when you turn, the right turn signal flashes and the other one stays on. I saved a lot of money with this converter and do the work myself. I have a diesel pushrod RV and tow a Subaru with magnetic trailer lights. I have driven this car for over 25,000 miles with no road problems.
