Last updated: 01/21/2021 Returned my first SV03 - it had too many problems Replacement SV03 had no problems Quick setup BL Touch worked to level the bed The prints look great It works for a month with no problems UPDATE: 2020-12-10 After soldering a cut ribbon cable I found that the feed guide leading into the extruder had cracks preventing the filament from threading. I had to disassemble it to get started. I replaced the feed guide with one from my SV01. After this was fixed, the BLTouch worked intermittently - I kept getting "sensor errors". I switched the BLTouch from my SV01 to rail and it fixed it. was able to make 5 beautiful prints out of it - several times it heated up the bed, extruder - then it automatically went home and the percentage of completion was calculated (about 1%p per second) and then it was reported as finished - without the plastic too remove. The more times I tried to print, the more times I got phantom prints. but on SV03 printing worked twice - after that it didn't work again. Updated the firmware did not fix anything. Returned - might get another one but not sure. When I press Auto Home, the platform moves forward (not sideways, towards the limit switch). It then hits the front of the printer and starts grinding the ribbon. I used a multimeter to check that the switch was working and then checked the connection at the connector that goes into the motherboard - the motherboard isn't responding. I found a cut wire when pulling the ribbon cable out of the channel which I spent a lot of time troubleshooting - hope this saves someone some more time then! I already have S V01 and love it! SOVOL seem to be great printers - this one doesn't need to have gone through full quality control.
