Review on BLACK DECKER BDL220S Laser Level by Antonio Liberty

Leaves a lot to be desired

After putting some pictures on it, there were a few problems with normal use. You can't use it as a laser level without drilling a nail hole in the wall. For comparison, I have another Black and Decker laser that uses a much smaller pin to hang the device. When removing this layer, it pulled twice on the surrounding drywall, leaving an unsightly mark. A tip is to use the laser level hole as a starting point for the first hole you need. The problem is that measuring distances is difficult because your tape measure has to be placed about 1 inch below the laser line and you have to determine the approximate position by eye, mark, remove the laser plane and then measure the distance. distance again. You can try measuring from the edge of the tier when it's hanging on the wall, but I found it too easy to slide and remove from the tier. The only advantage over the Black and Decker BDL190S is that it takes up less space as close to the wall as possible. However, as mentioned, the compromise is a big hole left behind.

Pros
  • 2 year limited warranty
Cons
  • Good for the most part, but...
