Review on Optimized for SEO: Black Sanuk Men's Chiba Journey Shoes by Philip Brianne

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Built-in and durable rubber boots are not real boots.

They are very different from traditional sidewalk surfers (like Vagabond, Pick Pocket). Traditional Sanuk styles are known for their comfort and a somewhat minimal travel that gives your feet the freedom to move naturally - they don't. Chiba Journey LX is very tall and wide. Dark olive is lighter than pictured. The sole is chunky, stiff, square and wider than the upper of the shoe. The upper of the shoe is so stiff that it struggles with the movement of my foot with every step. Because the sled feels like a sandal, it's tighter on the forefoot and less tight on the Achilles tendons. With such an uncompromising and flat platform, the shoes interfere with my gait. The great thing about them is that they are waterproof. The construction is solid and thanks to the loops they are very easy to put on. These aren't actually boots, but rather chunky rubber boots.

Pros
  • Bought as a Christmas present for my son - he loves it! Very comfortable and stays dry when it rains.
Cons
  • The price of shoes may be too high for some people
