I have purchased 5 different sizes and styles of these harnesses. I wanted one that I could leave to my cats, but all the others were so bulky that I could tell by the way my cats walked that they didn't like them. I finally have this style and they don't even seem to notice it's on them. You can easily customize it. I've found that if my cat tries to run away from him, he can get out, but only if you just sit and watch. It takes you a few seconds to escape, which is enough to grab your cat. And I think if I made it tighter maybe they wouldn't have run away at all.
