Better than the standard launcher but still not super durable
The launcher is much longer, fits better in the hands of kids and adults. You can get a lot more control and leverage than most bases. However, like most launchers, it loses its "discontinuity" over time. After a month or two, you will find that some of the ripcord's "teeth" are skipping, resulting in weaker or less consistent starts. As long as you view it as a temporary expense and not a permanent investment, that's fine.
