I like these smaller square books. They are thinner than expected but are printed on both sides and each book has 20 pages which is actually 120 pictures! In addition, the paper is very thick and of high quality. You can't use alcohol markers (they will bleed through any paper), but a light touch of water-based markers or gel pens will probably do the trick. I use colored pencils that work great on this paper, whether soft (like Prismacolor) or hard (like Crayola) leads. The pictures are beautiful and unique! Excellent line drawing quality. Most of them are very detailed, which I like. I only filled out one page and would like to have all the other sets.
