Got this as a gift for a friend's little girl. All in all, it's a cute gift that's popular with kids. I was a little disappointed that the spikes were only on one side and the other side was flat. The function is similar to other pop toys where it is harder to squeeze but slides back out easily with sounds from the other side. What I noticed when checking the quality is that the part where the buckles for the strap should have hooked was closed. Because it was thick, I had to use a sharp meat thermometer to poke a hole in each loop before I could hook the strap. I am deducting a star for this as it is not that easy for a child to use straight out of the bag.
