Do not buy this mug to drink from. The resin it is made of smells awful. It terribly contaminates your coffee and makes it undrinkable. I even tried washing it again and having a second cup. Tastes like toxic chemicals. Also the steel insert does not border the resin in any way, it is so open that when washing, a quarter cup of water was poured between the body and the insert. When I turned it over, it poured out in a small, steady stream for 10 seconds. If you want it to look cool with pens and pencils, do it, but if you don't like the taste of toxic chemical donkey, don't drink from it. It must be causing cancer or something.
