Review on Schwinn Steerable Beginner Bicycle Training by Kevin Bucher

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor quality (fall apart) and poor customer service

The bike was ridden a maximum of 3 hours and the handle mechanism literally broke. After several days of trying to call Schwinn and getting call prompts saying I was calling 36 etc., one day I turned on the speakerphone and was able to talk to someone. The support person had a rude attitude even before I spoke, she was rude, not helpful at all and just mistreated. I live in a climate where the bike season lasts 6 months of the year. Support kept saying sorry, only 1 year warranty. Bearing in mind that I was 6 days short of the 1 year mark (despite a few days before trying to call and being told to call 45 etc) I explained I had barely used it. Pictures sent then just replied sorry this part no longer exists and I need to clarify with Amazon (hard to understand why this part no longer exists but they still sell the exact same bike). I tried calling Amazon but got a direct call from Schwinn and they were closed. No, I have a broken bike that is throwing my little one into a tantrum because he can't figure out why he can't ride it (not to mention the part popped out at the bottom and the wire was very sharp and cut me I tried to fix it, never in my life have I seen such terrible customer service.
