Terrible sound

The cable is very noisy compared to my old electric guitar cables. I have to turn down the tone and volume of my guitar to enjoy it. The ends of the cable are also slightly thicker, requiring extra effort to connect and disconnect. and looks strong. The sound quality is terrible.
