This phone holder is definitely one of the best holders I have ever used! It securely holds the phone to the windshield with a suction cup. The grip is much better and even during the hot summer months when I live in Atlanta it doesn't loosen or show any signs of loosening. The frame and plastic used will not soften or weaken, and all connections remain strong. I used to have a unit of similar design that fell apart when the heat from the summer sun coming through the windshield wore off and eventually broke. That seems to be a common theme for these devices. Since I was in the US military, I can say that it definitely meets a higher standard of durability and functionality. But if VICSEED can tell me which spec number fits their claim, I'll definitely give it to them. But no matter how you sell it, it's definitely the best of its kind I've had to date. I'm curious how it will hold up over time. I haven't tested the vent mount on this holder that comes with the kit yet, I plan to just check and see in the near future.
