Review on 🦶 Snailax Shiatsu Foot Massager: Washable Cover, Kneading Foot & Back Massager with Heat, Electric Feet Massager Machine for Foot Relief and Plantar Fasciitis Treatment by Zack Higgins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Know your expectations but this is good value!

This is not a fancy foot massager like the ones that wrap, press and knead the legs which are much more expensive and tend to break (like most of those other foot massagers). massagers). I took the cheaper route (at least for me, not my wife) and gave it a try. So far it has lived up to expectations. If all you're looking for is something fairly inexpensive that will soothe your tired feet after, say, walking, running, or waking up, this should help. I used to have a basic foot massager like this until my wife broke it by pressing on it too hard with her feet. I don't think I'll have much trouble with that as the middle balls actually feel like they have strong springs underneath that are supposed to withstand pressure. I can push them down and they spring back like a good mattress. But that is only the central part. The toe and heel are not springy which I find normal for the price! The engine is powerful and relatively quiet. Noise shouldn't bother you when you're watching a show or listening to music. The machine has three modes in which the balls spin clockwise, counterclockwise, or alternate between the two. All of this is done by pressing the power button, which can be performed with your feet. They also have a speed button that controls slow, medium, and fast functions with a single tap. And finally, you can press the heat button for low, high, or no heat. Keep in mind that it doesn't get hot, just noticeably warm. I say "tactile" because it won't blow your mind, but it will be noticeable if you take your feet off the massager and put them on a cooler floor. The speed and mode (on/off) buttons have yellow, green, and red LED indicators to indicate which function you are using. The heating button is low or bright red, matching the color of the spinning balls. So everything is easy to use! With this massager, you can use it even for those who have a large figure. I wear a size 13 and have no problem working on any painful areas. I mean, you might have to put your feet up and rearrange them, but there are enough balls out there to get the job done. Trust that the midsection can prevent you from getting the bunion massage you want just by lying down. I either have to be conscious of pushing hard enough and/or just sit in a higher position to make sure the balls of my feet get enough pressure at times. The only minor criticism is the cover. I wish it was made out of a more durable material. If you see my photo, the lid is already starting to look a bit worn, especially where the balls are spinning. So I don't recommend using this with a lid. I'm a bit skeptical that the platform mesh will stand the test of time as it could be made from the same material as the deck, but we'll see! One thing I keep forgetting but have tried is to put it behind my back (even though I didn't buy it for that). I think it's a bit useless, but it gives you some relaxation! You may like it. Basically, I knew what I was getting. This is your basic foot massager, not perfect but higher quality than I expected. Being skeptical of all these massagers, I didn't want to spend a lot of money as they didn't break after five uses. But this one seems built to last. I have a two-year guarantee on it (after registration), so I hope to get at least that one. It turns off automatically after 15 minutes and I will respect that to avoid wearing out the motor and hurting my legs! If it doesn't hold up with normal use I'll be sure to update this review and let you know. But it seems like a good and fairly inexpensive way to relieve tired and sore feet. Believe me, you could do a lot worse for a lot more. I paid $40 and I think it's a good price especially if it takes a while.
