I chose this picture hanging tool because we have a number of paintings/art works to hang and it came in handy. The photos show how we hung a few pictures. Pros: Easier to mark where to hang a hanger than using one hand and a pencil, handy bubble level for leveling a painting after it's hung. Below where the nail enters, the mark is where the wire is on the tool. That means the mark you make with the tool isn't necessarily where you need the nail to be. It was about an inch larger for the hangers we used. See photo with arrows on it.
