Review on MagnaFlow Exhaust Products 12595 Muffler by Chris Meers

I wasn't impressed. I put 496 on a big block, thought it would be louder. There are many drones flying down the street and there is not much noise outside. For that amount of hum I would expect it to be louder, you can't even hear your exhaust from the outside. Sounds decent from a cockpit with the windows open, but yesterday I drove over a concrete-walled bridge and expected a nice echo. I was disappointed. There isn't much to hear. But if you want a sleek design with the least possible noise from the outside and a loud, annoying hum inside, this is your ticket. If you want something that sounds amazing, beautiful, or very decent, don't choose these Magnaflows. While the workmanship is good, the workmanship is good. All in all, wasted money for me. On March 14, 2014 I removed this exhaust and switched to straight pipes. No more drone in the cockpit and. looks a lot better from the outside.
