I bought this clock/radio to listen to music for my pet birds when I'm not around. The radio doesn't play. He just lies dead in the water. The box was slightly damaged and was sent in a bubble envelope. For a box of electronics you would think it would be better packaged. I had to wonder if the item was a return as the valve on the box was open and loose and not new. The radio itself was just in a small pimply envelope that was open on one side. I extended the antenna cable and walked the unit around the house, plugging it in wherever I could and trying to find a signal. I know other radios have no trouble connecting to stations. You hear NOTHING. No static. No weak radio signals. Absolute silence. The pursuit moves. The volume moves. But nothing. I wanted a cheap radio for needs that didn't require good sound but never thought I'd get any sound. Only now it's a cheap piece of plastic with a clock. You get what you pay for.
