works as it should for me. Leviton has been reliable to me for many years. A mid-century floor lamp that belonged to my parents, revived without changing the socket. The 150W LED does not stress the original wiring and works with a built-in dimmer, eliminating the need for a 3-way light bulb. And no double click is required to turn on or off the original switch. I've bought BB (before Bezos) a 3-way adapter like this in the past, but there aren't many 3-way bulb options these days anyway. I don't know why people have a problem with that. Might try John Prine's grandfather trick, but knock him out first, just in case. I hope nobody tries this without having a basic understanding of electricity.
