Review on 🐠 Hygger Aquarium Air Stone Kit - Fish Tank Bubbler for Hydroponics, Round Air Stone Disk Set with Small Bubbles and Ultra-High Dissolved Oxygen Diffuser by Cindy Jones

I wanted this to work. The photos show a cool curtain of really scattered bubbles. I bought a 4 inch hygger brick. I have a 4W Whisper 60 air pump that I have been using for years to create bubbles through three stones at once (4" ring stone + 6" ring stone + small air stone). I just wanted to replace these stones because they look ugly. I soaked this new 4 inch hygger brick for the required 2 hours (according to instructions) and then hooked it up to the pump myself (no extra bricks) and I couldn't get air through it. I checked the o-rings and diaphragm on the pump (thought they might have cracked so not enough air was getting through) but the pump/o-rings/diaphragm is fine. I don't know why the Hygger vent isn't working, but it just doesn't work. A much more powerful pump may be required, but the instructions specifically recommend a 4 watt pump for a 4 inch brick and that's what I used. I give up. I'll stick with regular air stones.
