I bought these as indoor shoes. I used to wear flip flops but decided to upgrade. They are comfortable in combination with thin socks. I was concerned about the fit as I was in East Asia and bought cheaper shoes there and the fit was random at times. They came in a plastic bag in an Amazon box with 6 packs of socks I bought at the same time. There were no scratches, tears or imperfections on my shoes. I think some teenagers wear them to prom without socks. I think you can do it too, but it can be a bit awkward to dance in. They don't offer enough support and probably aren't as comfortable to wear barefoot as the inside isn't fabric. If your feet sweat, they'll stick and probably smell. Put your socks on boys. Walk the last few yards to complete your outfit. Doesn't look like a kid who snuck into his father's bathroom.
