I didn't realize until after about 3 hours of unloading all the gravel and cleaning the tank, removing the sand and adding to the tank that I was actually putting my fish at risk and increasing maintenance was a nightmare . Dangerous gas bubbles form in the sand that can kill fish if you don't stir the sand every week. I have an aquarium with plants that are difficult to move and large stones, and for health reasons I did not want to reach into the aquarium with my hands and arms. So far I haven't found anything long enough to reach it. Also, I mix the roots, which can't be good for the plants. There are no warnings on the packaging and on the description page on Amazon. I bought £40 and now I've lost that money and need to buy gravel again and redo it. Please know what you are getting into and I hope they will educate people about this danger/problem with sandfish tanks. The sand looks amazing and is great value for money but knowing that it's worth nothing to me.
