Review on 🚗 Alla Lighting DE3022 DE3175 LED Bulb 31mm - 6000K Xenon White Interior Dome, Map, Trunk, Step Courtesy Lights for Cars, Trucks by Jeff Gopala

This is the first negative review I have had to write in 17 years. Almost all of my posts have five stars. I was very excited to purchase two sets of these based on the large number of five star reviews. However, I was very disappointed. The cartridge springs that hold these lamps bent the circuit boards of all four lamps. They were difficult to fit into the spring bushings. I used the end of a pencil with an eraser to gently insert the metal tip into the spring seat. To my surprise, the end caps simply and easily collapsed and pushed inward. Although the lamps worked in some applications I didn't expect them to last long due to the bending of the ends which would likely cause the ends to deteriorate with PCBs. The bulbs will not work on newer Toyota hatchbacks or vans with a gray rocker switch. The rocker switch rotates around the tip of the conical end. The rotation destroys the wide board and eventually causes the lamp to come out of the spring ends of the socket. I replaced them all with structurally sound Sylvania Osram LED blocks that I bought from another seller on Revain at a higher price. They have the same form factor as the original bulbs and are direct replacements. I sent both sets back as they were mostly structurally defective.
