Review on Oster Metallic Grey 2 Slice Bread and Bagel Toaster: Efficient Toasting Perfection by Andrew Kay

I have had this toaster for 6 months now. I spent weeks reading toaster reviews before deciding on this one. I didn't want to spend a lot of money just for a toaster that I use several times a week. The reviews for it have been great and $30 is reasonable. Every time I use this toaster I curse it and then curse the reviews. It has never fried evenly before. I have to toast twice to turn the bread halfway through. It lights up randomly regardless of the cooking level. The toast selection buttons disappear, and one has disappeared entirely. The top of the bread won't brown because it doesn't sink deep enough. The only plus point is the bright metallic color. I want to save the dough and add a dime to each burnt toast so I can get a more expensive one.
