Complements the HW-MM55/ZA soundbar which I also own. I knew the kit wasn't completely wireless. The receiver module is wireless, but you need to connect two surround speakers with the included speaker cable. Speaker cables and receiver inputs are clearly marked. The receiver module is connected to the soundbar. The pairing process is as follows: The receiver module is connected and the LINK LED indicator flashes. The soundbar must be switched off. The instructions then say that you need to press the VOL button on the soundbar remote control for about 5 or 6 seconds until the message "ID SET” appears on the soundbar. That does not work. The button to press is the mute button. When you press the right button, the LINK indicator turns solid blue. The receiver module is currently paired with the soundbar. At first I thought the speakers weren't working. The problem is connecting the speaker wire to the speaker. If you push the wire too far, it won't make the right contact. Pairing the speakers with the soundbar was tricky because the instructions in the user manual are wrong. Once paired, the rear speakers can be controlled with the soundbar remote control. The soundbar must be set to surround sound using the SOUND MODE button. The volume control button adjusts treble, bass, auto-sync, rear speaker activation, and rear speaker level. Changes are made with the UP and DOWN buttons. I set the BACK LEVEL to maximum. The sound quality is amazing! Takes the sound of movies, music and games to a whole new level with high-quality surround sound.
