This is a great desktop fan for occasional use. Very quiet. Very wearable. However, there are 2 types of USB fans. One type only works when the USB port is plugged in and has no battery. This type lasts forever while plugged in, so you can only use it near an outlet. The other type has a battery and only works when the battery is charged. This Mafiti fan only works when the battery is charged, so you don't need a power plug except for charging. The battery doesn't charge while the fan is running, so for me this fan doesn't run all night even if it's left plugged in.
