Brilliant design! I love how the strap starts under the heel at the bottom of the brace, runs up and around the brace from the top of the ankle brace, and then runs in a figure eight pattern around the back to the top of the ankle brace. Done securely, it keeps your foot and ankle securely in place! I have the standard ASO ankle brace which is excellent but the EVO is a step up in support! And best of all, it's actually slightly larger than the standard model, but still fits easily in all my closets! The upper cuff is thicker because it's made of soft plastic, but that doesn't affect it fitting around the ankle. I really don't see the nylon based brace being any more reliable and stable than the EVO. And all ASO braces are made of durable ballistic nylon. These ankle wraps are too good to be true for the low price.
