ASO Ankle Stabilizer Brace (Small) - Superior Support and Comfort for Stability Review

So much cheaper than what the doctor's office was going to charge for the exact same product. I used this while recovering from a grade 3 ankle sprain. It's a very good balance of support and flexibility. I felt very stable and was able to deal with it well in rehab. Good product.

This is one of if not the best ankle brace you can buy and has been recommended to me by several doctors and surgeons over the years. Regarding size and fit: I wear a women's size 7.5 and it fits my feet perfectly. They're too bulky to wear with minimalist shoes, but regular athletic shoes aren't usually a problem as long as your laces are long enough.

Excellent product. My daughter's teammates recommended this brand of ankle stabilizers. It's only available in our area at a small volleyball specialty store that's a bit out of the way. I ordered online and it arrived quickly. It works great, is fairly comfortable as it allows for a good range of motion while still providing adequate support, and is a lot less bulky in the shoe than it looks.

I give 3 stars because one side of the seam is twisted. It goes below the ankle to the other side. BUT THIS IS BETTER THAN THE PROFESSIONAL ORDER I MADE. I have no more cartilage in an ankle and was told to have it custom made. Turns out he made mine more painful. Wouldn't remodel. PLUS I HAVE TO BUY THE SHOES IN A SPECIAL SIZE TO FIT YOU. I received it, now I can wear the same size. I just wish everything was velcro and not laced up. Erasing takes a long time

Weak ankles from old gym and fitness injuries and currently work a 14-16 hour day so I sprain each ankle several times a year. Worked well for me and was 2/3 the price than my physical therapy room with my insurance. Better than an ace of course. I bend my leg when tying my laces (not recommended for everyone). This orthosis works great. I use it for taekwondo legs as the bows need some extra support. This orthosis offers good support without restricting freedom of movement. Another plus (for me) is the total lack of metal inserts. I don't have to worry about hurting someone while sparring. A notable improvement over my last braces is the sewing of the laces to the tongue. My last braces were a pain as the tip had to be constantly re-centered. No need with that.

Brilliant design! I love how the strap starts under the heel at the bottom of the brace, runs up and around the brace from the top of the ankle brace, and then runs in a figure eight pattern around the back to the top of the ankle brace.
