We had a horse that was constantly chewing where the vet was supposed to operate and this neck cradle was the only thing keeping him from putting his head in that spot turn. The tote has longer pins on both sides and shorter pins under the neck. This is done so the horse can still lower its head and graze without being disturbed by the neck cradle, and the longer pins on the side prevent it from turning its head to either side. Neck straps are adjustable. It consists of light, smooth wooden dowels with small wooden beads in between.
