We have a fireplace fan without a switch. You plug it in and keep going. This wears out the line a lot. This little switch is great! The fan stays connected and we can easily turn it on and off. My husband liked it so much that I bought him a second one. We used it for the Christmas tree. There is no light switch and this also solved the problem. Such a simple solution. I wish I felt the need for more of them!
