Comfortable but lacks arch support

The point of these shoes is that they are comfortable. Fits well, if a bit tight. It seems to taper off a bit towards my finger. But once I was in the water, I didn't feel any of it. And I have no doubt that the fit will loosen up a bit after you've put them on a few times. The bad news is that this shoe has NO arch support. Not good for shoes in general, but pretty bad for athletic shoes. However, I am happy to report that after putting my own insoles in, these shoes fit comfortably and snugly. Luckily I had a very good arch insole that I had removed from a Salomon shoe a while ago to replace with another. I put these insoles in my water shoes and voila, arch support! I wore these shoes to a water dance aerobics class and for the first time my legs didn't cramp. The feeling was incredible. I will say I slipped on the marker plate in the pool but it's still slippery. Only time will tell how long these shoes last. But I wasted no time buying a spare pair to have when needed. For what I spent on two pairs you could easily spend a pair of most other more expensive water boots. If you just don't want to give your money away, buy it instead. Just get high quality insoles for them!
