Review on SVPRO USB Webcam: 5-50mm Zoom Lens, 8MP High-Resolution with Sony IMX179 Sensor – Perfect for Windows, MAC, Linux, Android by Melody Stephens

Bought this for a family room with zoom so my wife and I can sit on the couch and look at a large TV with a camera that's almost on axis of the space framing our faces as we work, nominally. Geometry is ok, but not outstanding. The lens is great, but the sensors and software produced a green-grey, flat image that fell far short of everyone else in the meeting. Inferior to the built-in camera on our $250 Dell laptop, which we unfortunately resorted to. It was also very inconsistent when connected via USB, but it may have been my laptop or cables. It would be a great camera for other purposes, e.g. B. monitoring a very well lit process or an inaccessible event.
