I don't like that the lid doesn't turn when the van is more than 3/4 full due to the shape and low scoop, but that's a common drawback of the tilting lid jug . If you're ok with that, this is a great jar for you. I bought this for the basement where my teens and husband play in the hope that when the van gets within 5ft of their bodies they will clean up behind them. However, this was an unrealistic expectation on my part. The funny thing, if you ask my youngest, is that it comes in a huge box and he played with it for days before destroying it and leaving it in the living room. I'd like maid service.
