It's a good weight, has a really nice metal finish - and is just about perfect for storing an employer-displayed engineer's laptop. The HP Z-Book has a fun shape (it's square, with a foot running along the bottom of the back). This stand emphasizes the Z-Book's angularity, while the weight, adjustable size, and grippy interior mean my work laptop doesn't go anywhere until I take it off. Overall I am very happy with the quality and value of this stand.
