Review on Hush Puppies Men's Slip 10.5: Comfortable Men's Shoes for All-Day Wear by Gary Flick

I ordered these shoes for my 94 year old independent father. He still wore dress shoes with laces every day. After a fall a few months ago, he found it harder to tie his shoelaces. He resisted any thought of comfortable shoes. One day he asked me to help tie old boots and I decided to get something with velcro. I ordered it and waited to tell him. When they arrived I showed him Hush Puppies. He tried them on but didn't stand in them. He liked that they were light. He put them aside and said he would check. I had to leave town for two days and when I got home he was wearing shoes! They're smart enough to wear to church (the Velcro isn't visible under the curtain of his pants). Ever since he got them, he's only worn Hush Puppies. In terms of size, he usually wears a 10.5EEE but I bought an 11EEE because he had leg swelling issues. He says 11 is the right size. Hush Puppies has a reputation for making comfortable shoes and that's definitely what my dad needs. I am happy with the look, feel and price of this shoe.
