Poor quality and customer service

In the past I have always been satisfied with Cuisinart products. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this refurbished model. The coffee ran out several times. The carafe seems to be in place, but the coffee doesn't flow into it. Instead, it recedes and flows out the sides. Another problem is that it makes very weak coffee. This happens when I use ground coffee or ground beans. I used to have Cuisinart Brew Central but wanted to upgrade. I spoke to Cuisinart customer service. Her suggestion was to descale the coffee maker and use it at least 30 times. I followed her recommendation and I'm still having problems. In order to have the unit repaired at Cuisinart, the unit must be shipped to them at my expense ($28) plus a $10 fee. I've had the device for 42 days so it's not covered by the Revain warranty either.
