At the moment it seems that together with other supplements they really and quickly help --- but it is very difficult to say with certainty which supplements or combinations of them make a difference. I found that my LG dog couldn't handle the dose he was supposed to be receiving. She definitely couldn't take a double dose and she needs to take half the dose she supposedly has to maintain because she has such a sensitive gut. Called the company and they said glycerin can cause diarrhea - they only gave it with food so it didn't work. Now I give half the dose with food and dilute with water in the hope that she can tolerate it for a long time.
