I often lean forward when I do anything I enjoy (reading, sewing of all kinds). Years of doing this pose caused me to experience pain in my shoulder blade and shoulder from time to time. It took me a long time to figure this out and to realize that using this type of support reduces the pain. Add in some simple exercises and I can fix it for a few months. I have used other similar products and none of them are comfortable. But it does what it's supposed to. Would recommend if you need that kind of support.
